Film
By Roberto Badin

"The first thing that came to my mind when I was preparing this project was an image of a women legs and a close up of her shoes next to the window. The idea was to tell a story about a woman who is impatient and anxious. She is waiting for someone in a contemporary place that could be anywhere in a modern city.
When I created this story for my portfolio, my intention was to demonstrate that I was capable of shooting a film at the same time, as far as the idea goes along with the stills. It is a matter of using a different narrative way to express the same story, and the problem was not to fall into the trap of producing a film only from a sequence of stills.
My constant concern in general is to be focused on bringing an emotion and an aesthetic quality to the image. That's what makes this work fascinating!"
