Juicy Couture is has become a full line of casual apparel and is based in the West Coast of California. Juicy was originally founded by Gela Nash-Taylor and Pamela Skaist-Levy, but is now owned by the popular Liz Claiborne fashion company. Juicy became more well known as famous people were spotted around the world wearing their popular terry and velour track suits which say "Juicy" across the back of the pants.When Gela Nash and Pamela Skaist Levy first founded a company it specialized in maternity wear and was called Travis Jeans. This company had an amazing and successful line of incredibly comfortable maternity jeans that were stylish as well. Travis Jeans eventually evolved in to Juicy Couture which started out as a very unknown brand of high priced shirts.

When Juicy first hit the scene they focused on delivering the most fashionable, comfortable line of women's sweat suits and sports wear. Juicy Couture was so popular on the West Coast that they eventually expanded their line to extend a full line of women's apparel.
Juicy Couture is launching a line of yoga apparel called Down Dog Couture.the line will hit stores in time for the holidays. It will include "nylon camisoles, zip-up fleece jackets and fold-over waist pants in a range of styles." The clothing contains the Down Dog Couture logo and sayings like "Life is Juicy" and "Breathe/Relax." Prices for the collection range from $20 to $40.
“Italy in many ways is the epicenter of fashion and the European country that initially best responded to our product,” said Juicy Couture co-founder Gela Nash-Taylor. “We were so excited when we found out that we had a space on Via della Spiga, my favorite street in Milan, that I couldn’t stop jumping up and down.
The more popular the name became, the more they expanded their products. It was in 2002 that Juicy decided to offer their collections for both the men and children in your family. Juicy also offers different accessories and clothing for your dog including dog carriers, dog beds, leashes, toys, tags, collars, and different types of clothing.
Juicy's Clothing line is so popular that they even have their own Barbie doll which are of course wearing miniature Juicy Couture outfits and Juicy Couture Clothing Barbiecarry their own juicy logo shopping bags. When you have a Barbie doll adorning
Juicy Couture, the stereotypical babeswear brand from The Golden State, expands into Europe with a 3,000 square-foot store in Milan.
“When Pam and I first came to Milan, we were mesmerized by the elegance of the women dressed in dark colors and with perfect accessories, but we think we can definitely put Juicy Couture on the map with its combination of L.A. glamour, universal fit and casual luxury,” said Nash-Taylor.

Whether Milan is ready to be babe-ified only time will tell.
